Hi everyone, and welcome to my blog! For those of you who don’t know me, I’m Chris Ross—a personal trainer of 15 years, Muscle Activation Technique Specialist, and resistance training specialist. I work with clients out of my office and gym in Bozeman, Montana. To see more about me, please visit my about page.
This blog is designed to help you rethink some of what you may currently believe about fitness and athletic training. Whether you’re new to exercise and looking to jump start your fitness routine; an athlete who’s looking to improve performance or overcome an injury; or anything in between, this blog is for you.
I’ve spent many years as a personal trainer analyzing how our bodies work, how to ensure my clients and I can achieve optimum performance, and questioning the fitness industry as a whole. Those of you who know me well know that I am never satisfied until I understand each of my client’s strengths and weaknesses, how each exercise or technique I use affects the individual client, and until I can put together all of this information into a complete, individualized training program for each client. This blog is a place where I will be sharing useful articles and videos that convey new ideas about the training process, and to help you better understand your muscular system.
As most of you already know, misinformation runs rampant in the health and fitness industry. For this reason, I hope that the material posted here can empower you, add some new tools to your fitness toolkit, and help you achieve your overall goals.
